A Local CPA Serving British Columbia
I moved to the Kootenays as a young adult— “come for the winters, stay for the summers,” as we say. Inspired at a young age to pursue accounting, I built my career while living in Fernie, BC. I completed my Bachelor of Commerce degree remotely through Athabasca University in 2018 and earned my Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2021. After establishing my firm in 2023, I expanded my accounting practice to Revelstoke, BC. I am actively involved in both communities, currently serving as Treasurer on four non-profit boards of directors. Through my remote-first model, I’m able to serve clients across British Columbia.

I bring diverse accounting and financial experience across multiple industries, including roles as Senior Financial Advisor at Scotiabank, Senior Accountant at Teck Coal, Deputy Director of Finance for the City of Fernie, and bookkeeper for small local businesses. This background allows me to support small business owners and individuals with bookkeeping, tax preparation, tax planning, and in-depth accounting consulting. As a remote-first CPA firm, The Mountain Accountant serves Fernie, Revelstoke, and communities across British Columbia, with optional in-person support when needed.
